group94 and flash expression
Almost 6 years ago, I started learning web-development in Vancouver, Canada and I found it very profound and fascinating. However, at that time, I didn't have a lot of information about web. Presumably, I didn't know how to collect the related information. Off course, I read many textbooks of software, programmin, and tutorials, but it took me so much time to complete reading the books and articles written in English.
So, for me, the easiest and the most stressless way which I was able to get inspiration, tips, and sometimes, motivation for web-development was to browse the Internet and come across some sophisticated websites by accident. Actually, now, I really appreciate these wesites and I still like browsing to discover the fabulous websites I still don't know.

One of the most inspairing websites that I've ever seen is Group 94's portfolio site. Group 94 is a Belgian web studio and from my viewpoint, the members of it are mainly focusing on flash technology. Their style is totally different from 2advanced, that is another well-known web studio, and it is also different from other great web studios.
To be honest, I am not sure why I really like their site and their other work, but probably, the mainly reason why I like their style is that the style and atomosphere they make always invoke sort of emotional feelings. My ideal goal to make websites is not to make commercial websites to provide only information without any specific goals, but to make websites with an absolute concept, that automatically decide the framework, design, interface, and atomosphere.
Another reason is, I think, they are really good at using flash technology very effectively, but the amount of it is not overwhelming to us. The balance between technology and amount they are aware of makes me feel very comfortable and trustful, I guess. I saw a lot of websites that have so many flash gimmicks, but I feel that there are sometimes unneccessary to make the websites better. From this point of view, Group94 is really good at using and not using. Off course, these days, flash technology is not only a simple design software any more, but also, a more advanced programming software for rich internet application development, so we have to study and learn more of it for sure.
I am currently a web developer and a flash programmer.
I am studying the latest technology like ActionScript 3.0 and Flex 2, but I also would like to keep in mind that flash techology is a animation tool for the enhancement of expression like group94 does. So...., if I have a chance to work for a foreign company as web developer, I definitely would like to apply for group94 first.
If we get the information from websites and emotinal feelings at the same time, don't you think that it is a great experience for us ?
